Description

Sotigalimab is under investigation for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer, particularly in patients with mismatch repair deficient tumors or those who have progressed on other immunotherapy agents; its efficacy and safety are currently being evaluated in clinical trials. It may be used as a single agent or in combination with chemotherapy.

Mechanism of Action

Sotigalimab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) protein, blocking its interaction with PD-1 and B7.1 receptors to inhibit tumor cell proliferation.
