Description

Pertuzumab is primarily used in combination with trastuzumab and chemotherapy for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. Its use in colorectal cancer (CRC) remains investigational, particularly in patients with HER2-amplified tumors where it may be combined with other targeted therapies.

Mechanism of Action

Petrozumab, also known as pertuzumab, is a monoclonal antibody that targets the HER2 receptor, inhibiting dimerization and downstream signaling pathways associated with cell proliferation.
