Other Medications

Description

XS-03 is an investigational medication currently being studied by NovaOnco Therapeutics Co., Ltd. It is being evaluated in clinical trials for people with metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC). Specifically, it is being tested in combination with standard chemotherapy regimens (FOLFOX or FOLFIRI) and bevacizumab. The trials are focusing on patients whose tumors have a RAS mutation. XS-03 is in Phase 1 trials, which means it is being tested for the first time in humans to determine the best way to give it, find the right dose, and see how safe it is. It is not yet approved for use in CRC or any other condition.

Mechanism of Action

The specific way XS-03 works (its mechanism of action) is still being investigated in clinical trials. It is being studied to see if it can help improve the effectiveness of standard treatments for metastatic colorectal cancer, particularly in patients with RAS mutations. The exact molecular target or pathway it affects is not yet fully defined.

Side Effects
