Description

Vorbipiprant is a prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) receptor antagonist used in cancer treatment to enhance immune system response against tumors. The drug works by blocking PGE2 signaling pathways that normally suppress immune function in the tumor microenvironment. It is designed to improve the effectiveness of other cancer immunotherapies by reducing immunosuppressive signals.

Mechanism of Action

Blocks prostaglandin E2 receptors (EP2 and EP4) to reduce tumor-associated immunosuppression and enhance T-cell activation and proliferation in the tumor microenvironment.
