ROR1 (Various)

Other Medications

Description

ROR1 (Receptor tyrosine kinase-like Orphan Receptor 1) is a cell surface protein that serves as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment. ROR1-targeted therapies are designed to bind to this receptor, which is overexpressed in various cancer cells including some colorectal tumors.

Mechanism of Action

ROR1-targeted agents work by binding to the ROR1 receptor on cancer cell surfaces, leading to targeted cell death through immune-mediated mechanisms or direct cytotoxic effects. This approach selectively targets cancer cells while sparing normal tissues that typically express low levels of ROR1.
