Description
Phenylephrine is not used in the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC); it is primarily indicated for nasal decongestion and as a pressor agent to treat hypotension. It has no clinical application in CRC therapy.
Mechanism of Action
Phenylephrine is an alpha-adrenergic agonist that primarily acts on ?1 receptors to cause vasoconstriction and increase blood pressure; it does not have direct antineoplastic activity.
