Description

PeptiCRAd-1 is under investigation for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer. It has shown promise in preclinical studies and early-phase clinical trials but its efficacy and safety profile are still being evaluated in larger patient populations. Its use would be as a single agent or in combination with other targeted therapies.

Mechanism of Action

PeptiCRAd-1 is an oncolytic adenovirus designed to selectively replicate in and lyse colorectal cancer cells expressing the EGF receptor variant III (EGFRvIII). It delivers a gene encoding for IL-12, enhancing antitumor immunity.
