Description

Nab-sirolimus is an albumin-bound nanoparticle formulation of sirolimus (rapamycin), an mTOR inhibitor being investigated for various cancer types. It is designed to improve the delivery and therapeutic index of sirolimus by utilizing albumin nanoparticle technology similar to nab-paclitaxel.

Mechanism of Action

It inhibits the mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway, which regulates cell growth, proliferation, and survival in cancer cells.
