Description
Mifamurtide is used primarily for the treatment of high-risk non-metastatic osteosarcoma and has not been approved or studied extensively for colorectal cancer. Its use in CCR would be investigational and off-label.
Mechanism of Action
Mifamurtide acts by stimulating the immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells, particularly in osteosarcoma.
Side Effects
Fatigue; fever; pain at injection site; nausea; vomiting; constipation
