Description

Magnesium oxide is not used in the treatment of colorectal cancer. It is primarily indicated for the relief of heartburn and acid indigestion, as well as to treat occasional constipation. It does not have any direct effect on tumor growth or spread.

Mechanism of Action

Magnesium oxide is an antacid and laxative that works by neutralizing stomach acid and stimulating intestinal peristalsis to relieve constipation.
