Description

Zepzelca (lurbinectedin) is used for the treatment of metastatic small cell lung cancer after prior platinum-based therapy. It has not been approved or studied extensively in colorectal cancer; its use in CCR would be investigational and off-label.

Mechanism of Action

Lurbinectedin is a novel alkylating agent that inhibits RNA polymerase II and transcription elongation, leading to the arrest of cancer cell proliferation.

Myelosuppression; nausea and vomiting; fatigue; anemia; neutropenia; thrombocytopenia
