EU Experimental ES Not available 1 Clinical Trials

Description

KQB365 is an experimental medication currently being studied in clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, including colorectal cancer. It is being investigated by Kumquat Biosciences Inc. The goal of the trials is to determine the safe dosage of KQB365, both when given alone and in combination with cetuximab (a standard treatment for some colorectal cancers), and to see if it can shrink tumors. The trials are in Phase 1, which means they primarily focus on safety and determining the best way to give the drug. The trials are currently recruiting participants. One trial specifically includes patients with colorectal cancer whose tumors have a specific type of KRAS mutation (G12S). KQB365 is not yet approved for treating colorectal cancer.

Mechanism of Action

The specific way KQB365 works (its mechanism of action) is still being investigated in clinical trials. It is being studied as both a single treatment (monotherapy) and in combination with cetuximab. Researchers are looking to understand how the drug affects the body and how it might impact tumor growth.

Side Effects

Because KQB365 is an experimental drug in early-phase trials (Phase 1) The full range of potential side effects is still being evaluated. Participants in the trials will be closely monitored for any adverse events. Information about specific side effects will become clearer as the trials progress.

Not all side effects are listed. Side effects vary by individual. Always consult your oncologist.
