Tumor-specific neoantigens patient-specific T-cell receptors

Description

Ineo-Vac-T01 is a personalized T-cell immunotherapy designed for treatment of advanced colorectal cancer. This therapeutic approach involves extracting and modifying a patient's own T-cells to enhance their ability to recognize and attack colorectal cancer cells. The treatment represents a form of adoptive cell therapy that aims to harness the patient's immune system against tumor-specific antigens.

Mechanism of Action

The therapy works by collecting T-cells from the patient, genetically modifying or expanding them ex vivo to improve their tumor recognition capabilities, and then reinfusing them back into the patient. These enhanced T-cells are designed to target specific neoantigens present on the patient's colorectal cancer cells, potentially leading to improved immune-mediated tumor destruction.
