Description

HRO761 is an experimental oral medication being studied by Novartis Pharmaceuticals. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for certain cancers, including colorectal cancer, specifically in patients whose tumors have high microsatellite instability (MSI-H). This means the drug is being tested for the first time in people. The goal of these early trials is to determine the right dose and how safe HRO761 is. The trials also look at how well the drug works against the cancer. HRO761 is being tested both by itself and in combination with other approved cancer drugs, pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy) and irinotecan (a chemotherapy drug). Mechanism of Action
