Description
Erythromycin is not used in the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC). It is primarily an antibiotic indicated for bacterial infections. There are no clinical trials or indications supporting its use in CRC therapy.
Mechanism of Action
Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby preventing peptide chain elongation.
