Description

AMG-228 is under investigation for its potential use in colorectal cancer, particularly in patients with mutations or amplifications of the FGFR pathway; however, it has not yet been approved by regulatory agencies and clinical data on efficacy in CCR are limited to early-phase trials.

Mechanism of Action

AMG-228 is an investigational drug that targets the FGFR (fibroblast growth factor receptor) pathway, which plays a role in cell proliferation and survival; it inhibits FGFR signaling by blocking ATP binding to the kinase domain of FGFRs.
