Description

Pralsetinib is a selective RET kinase inhibitor approved for treating certain types of cancer with RET gene alterations. However, it is not currently approved specifically for colorectal cancer treatment.

Mechanism of Action

Pralsetinib works by selectively inhibiting RET (rearranged during transfection) kinase activity, blocking abnormal cell growth signals in tumors with RET gene fusions or mutations.
