Description

Lurbinectedin is used in the treatment of metastatic small cell lung cancer and has shown efficacy in other solid tumors. It is not currently approved for use in colorectal cancer but is under investigation for potential applications in this setting.

Mechanism of Action

Lurbinectedin inhibits RNA polymerase II, which is essential for the transcription of genes involved in cell proliferation and survival.
