Description

JSKN003 is an antibody-drug conjugate designed to target HER2-positive colorectal cancer tumors. This compound is being evaluated in patients with advanced colorectal cancer whose tumors express HER2 protein and who have previously failed oxaliplatin and fluoropyrimidine-based therapies. The drug represents a precision medicine approach for the subset of colorectal cancer patients whose tumors harbor HER2 overexpression or amplification.

Mechanism of Action

JSKN003 consists of an antibody component that specifically binds to the HER2 receptor on cancer cell surfaces, coupled to a cytotoxic payload that is delivered directly into HER2-expressing tumor cells. Upon binding to HER2, the conjugate is internalized by the cancer cell, where the cytotoxic agent is released to cause targeted cell death while minimizing damage to normal tissues.
