Description

GI-4000 is a therapeutic cancer vaccine designed to stimulate immune responses against tumor-associated antigens in colorectal cancer patients. This immunotherapeutic agent is formulated to target specific proteins commonly overexpressed in colorectal tumors. Based on clinical trial data, GI-4000 has been evaluated in combination with standard therapies including bevacizumab and chemotherapy regimens like FOLFOX or FOLFIRI for enhanced therapeutic efficacy.

Mechanism of Action

GI-4000 works by presenting tumor-associated antigens to the patient's immune system, specifically targeting proteins that are overexpressed in colorectal cancer cells. The vaccine stimulates both cellular and humoral immune responses, activating T-cells and promoting antibody production against cancer cells expressing these target antigens.
